About Us

The Tri-County Solid Waste Management Organization includes volunteer board members, and staff, that represent five towns: Appleton, Liberty, Somerville, Union, and Washington. The five towns are located within three counties: Lincoln, Knox, and Waldo. 

TCSWMO meets quarterly and each town hosts a meeting on a rotating schedule. Members of TCSWMO are committed to ensuring all towns have access to affordable trash disposal and are committed to recycling waste as much as possible. 

All meetings are open to the public and the date and location will be posted on our website.
